The Four-Phase Recovery Process

We understand the unique challenges of recovering from an injury. Our dedicated team of physiotherapists specialises in providing comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to your specific needs.

We have developed a four-phase recovery process designed to support you at every stage of your rehabilitation journey. Our approach focuses on delivering personalised care, maximising pain relief, and helping you regain your physical strength and confidence. We work closely with you to set achievable goals and provide the guidance and support you need to reach them.

Our process begins with a thorough assessment, followed by targeted pain relief and hands-on treatment. We then progress to a rehabilitation phase, combining physiotherapy with gym-based exercises to help you rebuild your strength and mobility. Finally, we provide ongoing maintenance support to ensure your long-term recovery and prevent re-injury.

Phase 1: Assess
We begin with a 40-minute appointment tailored to your needs to comprehensively assess and deliver an initial treatment.
Phase 2: Relieve
Together, we will work towards achieving maximum pain relief. You will typically have around 5 x 20-minute appointments. Extended sessions are available as needed. In session four, we will discuss the next phase, ensuring your active participation in your recovery journey.
Phase 3: Rehabilitate
We will work on your physical rehabilitation. Sessions usually run for one hour and include hands-on treatment and gym group work. They aren’t rushed to ensure you receive the maximum benefit from the treatment and rehabilitation work. Typically, two sessions a week (Monday to Saturday) are needed for 6 - 8 weeks for a full recovery. There is no additional cost for the gym session.
Phase 4: Maintain
Appointments will vary depending on your recovery and needs, but fortnightly or monthly appointments are typically needed to keep you on track and prevent re-injury. The program is designed to help you achieve your goals and maintain your progress so you can live your life without fear of a recurrence, providing you with a sense of long-term security and confidence in your health.
